Shynasti (shy-na-stee) is the owner and founder of Styles By Shy! A young innovative stylist looking to make a name and set trends in the Raleigh -Durham area. At the age of 13 she knew hair was her calling and started building clientele very early by doing everyone in the neighborhoods hair. Her mom then told her, "God has blessed you with this talent, please don't waste it!"

Upon graduating early from high school, Shynasti attended Paul Mitchell's School of Raleigh. Being only 17 and youngest student at the school she soon become discouraged and told that hair wasn't for her. Unfortunately, she didn't make the finish line but she ventured off into a new career.

After attending a different college and receiving and Associates Degree in Applied Science, she then realized she was missing something in life.

After talking to God and feeling a part of her life was missing, Shynasti went back to hair. She received her Natural Hair License and started up Styles By Shy and also a hairline called Platinum Plush Extensions.
